Weight Loss Tip of the Week-Thanksgiving Edition!

We are right in the middle of the big 3 (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas) where holiday eating is expected. Trying to lose weight during this time is difficult, but not impossible. When eating a meal like Thanksgiving, it's important to remember to eat slow. Give your body time to feel full before putting more in. Only eat what you really want. Leave the extra stuff that looks good, but doesn't taste that way alone. It is ok to reward yourself with a treat, but don't go overboard. Remember to watch out for empty calories such as alcohol and sugary drinks. Make sure you enjoy yourself though. You deserve a great time with your family! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
