Exercise is obviously very important when trying to lose weight. It's not something that will help you lose weight by itself though. It can help increase satiety so you aren't as hungry. It will also speed up your metabolism to help lose weight faster. Patients who exercise regularly are also more likely to keep the weight off. Exercise can be done anywhere you feel comfortable and it's never too late to start. You do want to ease in though and listen to your body. Don't over do it, but you need to do it regularly or you'll lose what you've gained.
